Foundation Unlimited’s first Board of Directors meeting

The first Board meeting of Foundation Unlimited took place on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Newrest support center in Toulouse. Members of the Board of Directors, made up of representatives from the worlds of business, sport and medical research, met to discuss the foundation's by-laws, action plan, future projects and campaign launches.
Who are the members?
Figures such as Marie-France Marchand-Baylet were chosen, as well as sports icons like Perrine Laffont and Tony Parker. The group also called on Philippe Choquet, in the field of education, General Manager of UniLaSalle. As well as experts in the healthcare field, such as Professor François Amalric, General Manager of the Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé, and Doctor Robert Sebbag, infectiologist attached to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital and founder of the Action Contre la Faim association, among others.
The Founder and Chairman of the Newrest Group, Olivier Sadran, and Matthieu Jeandel, Group Vice-Chairman, are also members of the Board.
The topics covered
As a reminder, the 3 main actions of Foundation Unlimited are:
- Protecting the individual by promoting access to water and basic food needs. This focus will also include strong support for medical research into cancer and addiction management.
- Human development through achievement and resilience in sport.
- Realizing individual aspirations through training and education.
Olivier Sadran, member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors: “All proposed projects will be based on the Foundation’s 3 pillars of action, and must be linked to the notions of secularism, ecology and health”.
The timetable for 2024 has been validated as follows:
- March 2024 and August 2024: assessment of projects submitted via the website.
- May 2024 and October 2024: presentation of selected projects at the Annual General Meeting
